Just wanted to know where you guys mounted your Commander and if you had an pics.

Most people tend to mount it to the right if the HVAC controls, some put it in the Ashtray box. I'm assuming you have an FD since the PFC doesn't support the BT? Right?

 

I do have an FD.



How is it mounted there?

 

I'm not exactly sure, but it looks like the hook Sled Driver used to make.

No, its a little metal bracket. Gotham racing sells them, or you can make your own

 

I don't have any pics. What I did was drill a hole into the center of the cigarette lighter, and then screwed a rectangular piece of plastic, the size of the back of the copmmander, into the cigarette lighter. Now, I have a flat base that I can velcro my commander to. It works great, the screen is in plain sight and I can ever make adjustments with my right hand while driving.

pep boys sells universal cell phone holders that clip onto the vents, my car came with one and the commander is held in by that.
