this is my headache now. i have an 87 tII that i installed a haltech e6x everything seemed to be fine, the car runs(like crap)and the timing is ok,but i have no trailing spark. i searched the forum for this and i checked all the problems others ran into and cant seem to figure it out. i almost think that it is in my setup which i have also checked multiple times, im just missing something stupid i think. any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Don't know if this will help you or not, but I found it to be pretty useful.

the hitman install method is what i used and still no trailing spark. i have checked all of the wiring about ten times and it is correct. i even checked the main connector and everything pins out with contiuity.

And you're using the Aux. Output and Ign. Toggle and the setup is right?

yes the output is on toggle and as far as the rest of the setup, i believe it is correct. the only thing i am uncertain of is the home/trigger edge setpoints. but i have tried to cahnge them and nothing still.
