What the hell inside the adapter to make it $125? It is a serial device which is the lowest form of communication within a PC. Anyone ever open one up to see whats inside? I wish I could find mine so I could. I just dont feel like dishing out another $125 for a little ROM if I could just make one.



On another note, if anybody wants to make thier own harness, you can use the connections off of older power supplys. You need to cut them to lenth though, but they are all there. Spent $5 on a used power supply and now have a new harness.
