i announced everyday prices on those units months ago, but i have heard some concern that the australian units are diffrent from the us ones, (# of injector drivers, software, ect.) i'm trying to find out if that story is true of BS from my contact in australia before i begin advertising them again.

if the units are in fact the same, i can supply the units at that price all day everyday.

if i were you, id find out about the diffrences in the us and aus versions before commiting to any group buy. i'm sure those guys are buying from aus at those prices

Please LET US KNOW when you confirm the good or bad! I want a full standalone, but probably won't have the money available for the group buy.

To the best of my knowledge, there are no differences between the two, except for vendor "bundles" and markup. Check the "US Microtech availability" thread for a bit more discussion.

This buy includes the EMS, flying lead harness, installation instructions, and tech support through Jon at RX Engineering, as well as discount pricing for the 3bar MAP sensor, dash setup, hand controller, and laptop connector/tuning software. I've set up a mailing list for the unit, and will answer any questions that I can. I'm not a vendor, but the only way I can get a microtech in the US for a decent price is to set up a GB... so that's what I've done.

I encourage you to join the Microtech email list. Email majordomo@team140.net and put "subscribe microtech <youremailaddress>" alone in the body (no quotes or <>s). Then, to post to the email list, use microtech@team140.net . It's just that easy.

not to intefer with this guys deal, but if you dont have $$ to get in on his group buy, i can match those prices any day of the week, even for single unit orders, contact me when you're ready.

i'll do the lt8 or ltx8 with flying lead harness for 650

i'll do lt8 or ltx8 with flying lead harness, relay, fuse holder, book/manual and external 3 bar map sensor, coolant sensor, air temp sensor, laptop adapter and software CD ALL FOR $1050 shipped.

i dont think anybody can beat that package price. and that is for everyday orders, if you guys wanna do a GB with me i can lower that price too.

let me know

Heh. Capitalism at work. Just so it's clear, I'm not a vendor - I just want a microtech, and the only way found to get one for a good price is/was to start up a group buy... with that said, this deal, including

- LTX8 ECU

- Flying lead harness

- manual

- laptop adapter

- software

- ignition coils

- 3 bar map sensor

- Misc other odds and ends

- One-on-one tech support

- A LARGE library of base maps

- Access to a support mailing list

- probable tuning by Jon at RX Engineering, who is planning a trip to the US right now

- Discount pricing on the Dash unit ($265) and hand controllers ($97)

Comes out to $925 + shipping (which will be very reasonable). This unit uses all of the stock sensors. New connectors are $15 for a kit from Summit, and I'll probably work something out to include those for nominal cost as well.

Not too shabby.

Also keep in mind that the LT8 (uses stock coils, which are good to 600hp) deal comes in at a total of $805 + shipping, and includes everything the above does, sans coils. Also, if you want to use the stock MAP sensor (good to either atmo or 14ish PSI, depending on whether you're N/A or turbo), that can be done as well, dropping another $103 off the total cost.

not trying to take anyone away from the group buy, this is for the guys who wont have thier $$ in time for the GB, those are my everyday prices. and no waiting for the GB to end, i can ship NOW!
