Thinking about ripping out the APEXi power FC and puttingin a Microtech. Will the stock gauges still work? Is the speedo ran by the ECU? What about the Tach? Oil, fuel pressure?

Why won't the speedo work?



Do the oil/temp work off the ECU too?

you're misunderstanding. the tach is the only one that goes thru the ecu. and the coolant temp wire is on the engine harness but doesnt go thru the ecu. the others dont use the ecu

Ok. So to make the tach work, I need to keep the ECU there? Or, has someone masterminded a mod to make it work without the ECU?

No, you don't. There should be an output on the replacement ECU to run your tach.



What's wrong with the Power FC?

you need the tach out from the microtech
