How hard is the setup? I am a dealer now so they sent me alot of stuff. It looks fairly simple, just time consuming.

I am trying to remove both my factory wiring harness and my ABS harness....but it is kicking my *** trying to get them out of the car. I got them both completely unhooked from the engine and the ECU's but I can't get them through the holes. The ABS unit wraps around a ton of **** under the dash....and the main ECU has some type of connector clipped on under the dash way up in some area that I can barely touch...let alone unhook.



Anyone have any tips on how to remove this ****? My LT8 showed up today...so now I need to get this crap out and the new stuff in.

I finally got it all removed. I just removed the blower and then it was easy to remove.



Now my new question is about the cruise control and windshield wiper motor on the stock ECU harness. Do I simply cut the other lines that go from those two seperate plugs? There is about 15 lines going to those two plugs....yet only about 10 go into the engine bay to the cruise control and windshield wipers....the other 5 or so follow the main harness and travel to the ECU.....do I still need those wires? Do I have to splice them into my Microtech wiring harness? Do I simply cut those ones and just leave the original 10 or so that go back into the engine bay?

OK so i read all these threads. What after all this work makes this system that much better than the Pfc? after seeing the DataLogIt and having a Haltech just wondering if its just because its a new item?
