1)The trigger sensor has 6 wires coming from the haltech, my trigger is the CAS, right? the CAS has a 4 wire connector on it. How do i make 6 fit with the 4? 4 of the wires coming from the haltch are bundled together and match the colors on the CAS, the other 2 are black and grey w/ a red stipe, where do they go?

2) What are the IDLE wheres for and where do they go?

3)I got a bundle of wires labeled RD SPD, road speed? Where do they go?

4) what about my dash and CPU wiring harness? How do i connect them to my haltech?

5)Wipers? i stripped the factory harness down. How do i plug it into the haltech?

6) o2 sensor. The factory one has one prong in the connector, there are 3 wires coming form the haltech? how do i make that work.

7) And i though the haltech came with its own TPS senor? i never got one....

8) on the map sensor there are 3 wires, which ones goes where? black is ground orange is=? yellow is =? one is supposed to be +5v and the other is "sensor'

didnt your haltech come with instructions for going into the 7?

IDLE probably for IAC, it would either go into the BACV if it's compatible or you would need a GM IAC probably and rig it into

the system, or no IAC for you.

wipers shouldnt go to the haltech afaik.

o2 sensor it probably supports a heated one, if you're using the oem mazda one i think you will leave two of the haltech o2 wires out of the pic unless you get a heated one.

I've heard of some people selling haltechs for 7's that use the oem plunger TPS, I would personally switch to a full range rotary TPS, if it wasnt in your kit you have to buy it. It's probaby a GM TPS.

Trigger you probably use your CAS, will probably require some rigging, I would personally use the crank trigger wheel w/magnetic sensor and ditch the CAS. but you probably will have to buy that if it didnt come with the kit.

It should be relatively plug-n-play if it's a haltech sold for the FC, the instructions should cover it... if theres nothing in the way of instructions or anything and it's supposedly for the FC I'd probably be on the phone right now bitching.

good luck dude, I've never done a haltech so I'm mostly just guessing to try and help out.

Look over at the hitmans installation tips.

http://www.hitman.hm/installation.htm

1. On the trigger wire you'll only be using wire inside the shielded cable. Just take the connector from the harness side and cut it off with another cable to splice it in to the haltech cables coming out of the shielded cable. This will make swapping out CAS a snap in the future since you retained the mazda plug on both sides.

2. IDLE wires, ignore that. Not used.

3. NOt used either

4. Don't worry about them, they just work as normal, U only have to rewire the coolant gauge temp sensor to make that one work. Take the passenger side harness and take it out, save it so youcan reuse some of the plugs and the firewall gourmet.

5. Does not go to haltech, you have to cut it out of the old harness and replice again. One side plugs into the wipre motor, the other side plugs to a big plug under the dashboard, along with the cruise control and coolant gauge sensor unit.

6. O2, just plug to the shieled cable from the haltech to the o2. You'll be using just one wire for now. The toher wires are when you have a 3 wire or 4 wire 02 sensor. no big deal.

7. TPS should of come with it. Call the place you got it from. you can use the stock one but it sucks on the s4.

8. LOL, you did get a manual, didn't u? There is a wirign diagram in the rear of the manual.

Before you do anything I would advise to read the manual a few time over. I mean the whole book 3 times and memorize it.

IF there anything else, let me know.

C

PS Not all the wires in the haltech will be used, you'll have a lot of left over wires.
