used it on my first motor for a while. Kindof expensive, and I really didn't see any performance gain. I guess I was able to run more boost

I kindof like the idea of the s-afc better

Missed my info a while back...

F-Con S is very tunnable by you. It now has a commander and with everything, harness/adapter, commander and F-conS it would be a little less them our price on the PFC.

F-Con S is a piggyback only...

F-Con V can be a piggyback or a Standalone

F-Con V PRO is a standalone.... Only tunnedable by HKS dealers (no problem for me, to get the software, but I cant just sell it)

Oh so there is a V and a V-pro, didnt know that. So what one would the PFC be compareable to? The PFC wouldnt be considered a piggy back, would it, cause as far as i thought it wasnt. Same as the Fcon-S, I thought i read it wasnt a piggy back and was a stand alone that also had to be tuned by a HKS dealer.

F-con S is very much a Piggy back, about a year ago when the F-con S and commander were coming out, I talked to the HKS guy before and after the AUTO SALON as the shop I work out of sometimes.

How the compare. Hard to explain, but showing the F-CONS still needs the original ECU in the bottom right of the picture, V doesnt.

COMMANDEER sort of speak, but NAVIGATOR

OLD POS F-CON Offered only in the USA. I dont even think you can get it here anymore.

I guess as per HKS USAs site you can buy the F-CON V PRO, but they want some $COIN$

IF YOUR ONLY RACING NO NORMAL DRIVING I RECOMMEND THE F-CON V, IF YOU HAVE A NORMAL CAR AND YOU DONT NEED PERFECT BUT CLOSE TO IT, THE PFC IS FINE. IF YOU DONT MIND THE PIGGYBACK THE F-CON S IS NICE AND CHEAPER. MY HKS GUY SAID THAT UNIT WAS MADE TO COMPEIT WITH THE PFC AND I TOLD HIM IT WONT IF ITS A PIGGY BACK, SINCE MOST PEOPLE LIKE LESS ***** IN THEIR CARS NOT MORE.
