Ahh, I didn't realize it was for your own car...

One of the guys in the Canadian Forum on RX7Club is putting an E11 on his white 20b FC, too. Didn't you say something once about them all being white for some reason?

I plan to go w/ the E11 when I put on the GT35/40...it sounds like the E11 is a bit more headache then the E6K though...besides Halwin...what benefits are there to the E11? How much did the E11 cost you up in CND? I might end up just going w/ an E6K for now...who knows...E11 sounds a little to new and riskay for my project....

It's had some teething problems it looks like, but Hitman thinks the bugs are worked out for the rotary applications. We'll see. I paid $2500 CDN. Basically the same amount of money if you ordered it from Ari @ RP.

The E11 basically has more functions. I've never used an E6K, but the E11 has the two map storage, on-board datalogging, pre-configured outputs like N2O, water injection, intercooler spray, etc. You can download a version of Halwin 1.09 of the Haltech website and check out some of the input and output configurations available. Switch from race fuel to street fuel maps with the flip of a switch

The on-board datalogging looks cool. You can log 10 channels @ 1 sample/second for 4.9 hours! 10 channel / 10 samples/sec 29 minutes, 10 channels / 200 samples/sec 1.5 minutes. Or 4 channels at a time to extend the log time. Handy for drag racers and trackers! Unless you like TFAF style, with the laptop on the passenger seat

You can have quite a few analog inputs that it will log too, many that have nothing to do with engine function, but a race team would like to keep track of. (suspension travel is one that comes to mind off the top of my head) Can take a wideband output, (from the wideband controller) to log along with regular motor functions, so they will be on all one page. Supposedly in the future the E11 will be able to use a wideband O2 sensor directly.

Sequential operation of the injectors. I think people have found you can use bigger primary injectors and still have a smooth idling beast.

That's all I can think of right now.

for some reason most of the 20b fc's end up being white, its kind of a joke.

some of the really cool ems's actually tie into the whole car, like f1, pretty cool stuff

There should be an analog style input so the ems can recognize if you are about to **** or **** yourself cuz it is going too fast...

There are 8 analog inputs, if you can figure out a way to make that signal between 0-5 VDC it will "log" it for you.

We have CONTACT!!!

It started, first try!!

Well kinda. Apparently the gas tank on an FD isn't grounded, so I had to do that first to get fuel pressure. Then my cobbled together CAS plugs weren't making very good contact, so the RPM signal I had 2 days ago was sporadic today.

After that it started!! Then died after 5 seconds. I don't think the base 13 BT map on the Halwin is made for a 13b-rew with 850cc primary injectors!! There was a huge cloud of fuel smoke after 5-6 times of running for 5 seconds. Oh well. I still have to zero the timing, then on to the hard part!!
