Well, I can get it to run. Having a hell of a time zeroing the timing. First timing light another RX guy brought over wouldn't flash on my car. Picked up a new one and it works. Trying to zero the timing according to HITMAN's instructions on his site, and it kept dying. Wasn't till I gave up for the night that I realized he has trailing and leading values reversed in the S6 section of his site. Good thing to, as this gives a 15 degree error. My car runs awesome with the timing showing as about 15 degrees off, so I am very relieved.

Imported some E6K maps. As I understand it, the E6K has 16 RPM points, no closer than 500 RPM apart? Anyway, the default 9000 RPM setting on the E11 has points at 150, 300, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1100, 1250, 1500, 1750, 2000, etc, etc.... spreading out as they get higher. When I import E6K maps, I get tuned points up to my 4250 RPM range, then they revert back to the default map in the E11 above that. I'm confused at this point as to where the E11 is putting the E6K values. I may have to just throw together rough maps to drive to the tuner and then compare maps back to back using the E6K software on one computer and E11 software on mine. See if my 1000 RPM values are the same as the E6K 1000 RPM values, 2000 and 2000 etc...

Tomorrow will try to stagger the 2 hour drive to Magnus. Then we'll see how it goes from there.

Security guard had to ask me to quit, 'cause I was gassing out the entire underground. The exhaust really echos down there. Tonight I won't make such a stink, I'm leaning it out some and I won't need to idle it as long now that I've figured out what I was doing wrong with the timing.

the e6k does 500rpm increments and extrapolates in between. what you could do is fire up both softwares on different computers and manually put the e6k values into the e11
