are CA ECUs available for swap with nonCA FDs.. ?

 

I think they are, but throw up an engine light. Not too sure though.

I think the egr is the only difference

 

they have a bunch of different ones:

n3a1-18-881(a,b,r etc) fed 93

n3a3-18-881 cali 93-94

n3c1-18-881 federal 94

n3e1-18-881 and n3d1?-18-881 the two 95's



the 93 californy and all the 94's have egr, so you need to keep the egr ecu in it

sure looks like i have a non CA ecu....

car must not have been originally slated for CA...

as i picked it up from LA..

 

it will say on the window sticker if you have it, the dealer can also run a warranty report and tell you the selling dealer

theres also a blue harness right by the airpump that should be just open...egr

telltale sign its a non cali car...
