well, turns out it wasn't the plug wires at all. now i'm totally stumped as to why the haltech is no longer seeing a trigger signal.

hmm maybe try splicing into the same wire thats the tach uses

should the ignition output wires be hooked up to anything when installing an F10 on a TII motor? i noticed in the wiring diagram one of the wires says inj 1 and was wondering...
