I"m guessing you have an FC??

Car should idle fine. Make sure you have taken out the ACV and blocked it off. You may have a vacuum leak if you left the acv there and not have the vacuum ends plugged.

If you have to tune the safc, on the low map, it should be no more than 8% lean at the rpm you set up, So if the lowest setting is 1000 rpm, tune that one. On the safc you can set up the load points, usually from factory they are at every 1k unless you changed that.

Usually the o2 would measure no less han .82 volts or it will stall out.

go to the low throttle setting. At the 1000 rpms value, lower the value until the car will run like crap. That's leaning out your car. Turn it up until the idle evens out.

No. The SAFC isn't connected to the O2 sensor. Do what jspecracer said. That should do it.

I met to say, use a voltage meter to read the 02 sensor
