Anybody here using the Innovate LM-1 with RPM Converter?

I have had no success getting the RPM converter set up. I go through the procedure and it's like it doesn't take the settings and when I go to the logworks software it reports "No realtime data". The documentation for this product is pretty weak. I'm taking the signal from the negative post on the leading coil. Engine is a 13BT with Haltech E6X. Can anyone offer some advice?

That might be worth a shot. The thing that troubles me is that I can get through the setup procedure and everything looks hunky dory, but if I restart the LM Cofig ap it is as if I did nothing with all the defaults selected.

I've had the LM-1 for a while, and it's worked great. It's just that I wanted the ability to log AFR vs. RPM, etc. The RPM converter is supposed to make that possible, but I can't get the flippin' thing to work.

i have the lm-1 and the lm-3 data logger , never could get the lm-3 to work ever and never could get the logworks to operate. as far as the lm-1 wide band goes i found that thing to be a pain in the *** more then a help, damn thing would always read incorrect and that was even after i recalibrated it many many times, i would do one boost pass and it would over heat and shut down, then i would have to recalibraite it again . im sellin both the lm-1 and the lm-3 for 250 if someone wants to try and get it to work.

Okay. I'm up and running! Turns out that the LM-1 unit required a firmware upgrade before it could communicate with the new logworks software. I guess that's the price you pay when you buy an item (the LM-1) and then wait two years to buy an accessory for it (the RPM converter).
Let me say this about the LM-1: This device has enabled me (a complete ECU noob) to install a Haltech on my tired old T2 motor and get it running (rather well) without blowing it up. Granted, I do think that I have yet to realize the full horsepower potential of my setup, but that is largely due to my conservative nature, and the lack of access to a dyno and the time to putz around with it.
My only criticism of the Innovate products is that the documentation is a little thin. The stuff works great!
