Back in April of '04, we dyno tuned my car. My stupid Vivitar camra continued to mess up, later found to be a volt problem (eats through two AA batteries in 2 minutes). But, the only non-damaged video was during a 13.5 psi run. Here it is:

During that run, we only had the car to 6175 rpms. Fuel was leaking out, and the run was waved off and aborted.

Here is the graph:

The dip in the graph was because the run was started early in 3rd gear, then shifted into 4th gear, and actually doing the run. The purpose of this dyno wasn't for the "end all" performance, for we were still tuning to lean out. We set our timing maps, added lots of fuel, and started to lean it out.

This was also done at Mothers in NJ. Unfortunately, I didn't get a torque read out here. Here is how this turbo played out on the RPM to RWHP #'s:

RPM: 3,769

RWHP: 195

-

RPM: 4,092

RWHP: 300

-

RPM: 4,307

RWHP: 400

-

RPM: 4,576

RWHP: 500

-

RPM: 4,845

RWHP: 560

-

RPM: 5,437

RWHP: 600

-

RPM: 6,175

RWHP: 628.8

The turbo that was used, was an Innovative T72 "Q" trim, dual ball bearing, with a 1.30 AR exhaust housing. On the way back from Rotary Revolution, the turbo burned up. Working with Innovative, they determined I potentially overspun the turbo shaft speed, surpressing 105k rpm. Here is the graph of the T72:

The line drawn through there, was the proposed airflow of the engine; using the 1.92 cfm per rwhp; then converting the CFM into LBS/MIN.

I have since changed the turbo to the following:

The line drawn through this one, was based from the original T72. This new turbo flows 10lbs/min more of airflow at any given point. Hopefully, it wont choke out like the T72 did. I will redyno in the Spring.
