Steve Kan tuning day...he's as good as advertized!

Looking at the plot of when he lifted, I think I could have eeked out a bit more to redline. Next time I guess I have to be better prepared.

u know, if you connect the 2 airbag wires together with some sorta resistance, a resistor or 1 whole wire to 1 strand of the other wire) the light will stop blinking.

nice chart by the way. car sounds great too. whats your exhaust set up, i didnt see any smoke.

Vosko: To be honest, I don't understand what the curve means other than it's purdy and the number is not bad. Steve can prolly tell you what is right and wrong with my car.

Treceb: I have the MazdaSpeed hub with the resistor. The SRS light blinks cuz when I repainted the engine bay, the painter decided the airbag sensors were useless since I don't have the airbag anymore. Trouble is, without the sensors attached, the warning lights get all happy. Easier to pull the bulb...except for a lazy azz like me.

Exhaust is just a midpipe to A'PEXi GT-Spec catback. Nothing special.

FD3Boost: Thx...I'm hoping to enjoy a little bit although the process is a bit more trying than I had anticipated. Mebbe by summer we can get Steve back and I'll go for broke.

Vosko got it right.... It was boost creep from 10psi to 14psi at higher rpm. I think it should stay at 14psi pretty well though which is why the torque climbs vs. rpm.

I think that at 14psi, the car made pretty descent hp considered the amount of time everyone spent getting everything up to par. I wish I still have dibs on the wheels and brake kit.

ok that explains it, still great numbers for 14psi

someone should really buy my crazy external fuel setup from my old FD..... that had zero fuel pressure problems

That's what I love about the FD community! So many ready to pounce on the weak. I think everyone at the dyno put dibs on something in case I did give up...still thinking about it.
