So this Monday I was blessed with the chance to make a few good pulls on the dyno. I had high hopes for numbers but the dyno don't lie and i didn't make the projections I set for myself. There is always time so after this season I think I'm doing a full bridge. Just a little info on the set up so you know whats going on. Its a 12a with the primary ports bridgeported and the secondary ports streetported. The housings have a race port exhaust. A top of this sits a 48 IDA weber carb fed by a new 4-6 lbs carter fuel pump. The exhaust flows through a header, straight pipe, glass pack tuner muffler.

The numbers on the sheet shown are from my 5th run. It made 130.8 rwhp and 97.8 ft-lbs. My first run of the night was a 133 rwhp but you'll have to wait for that pic.

what venturi's are in that carb? what size exhaust? i think you also need to bridge all the ports the same, or use something like a holley, where they can be tuned seperate.

bp should be more than that!

not ripping on you either, ive got a 12psi @139rwhp dyno sheet for a 3 rotor somewhere

The full bridgeport is next after seeing that. Along with one piece carbon apex seals. As for the exhaust it has a header that flows into a 2-1/2" straight cat replacement pipe, that goes into the stock 1-13/4" pipe over the axle into a 2-1/2" APC s/s glass pack muffler. the exhaust is what i think is holding me back. do you think there is 7-10 hp in there. the afr was 12.5 the whole time it was under load on the dyno

at what rpm does the power start to drop, i cant see the x-axis being labeled from your sheet

something really goes wrong at the rpm where power starts to drop, a rotary even with stock ports shoulnt do this, make sure your throttle bodies are opening all the way, and are you SURE the afr is 12.5 all the way to redline?

it could also be you rignition, but somethign is definitely not working right. start trouble shooting
