I can't upload jack on the other forum, anyways.

Hey guys,

Made it to the dyno today for a little wideband tuning. I pieced this turbo kit together for $1900, doing most of the stuff myself.

Here are my mods:

Stock engine 48k miles

Budget T-66 kit

Greddy FMIC (old school)

Borla Midpipe

Greddy SP

Greddy Pullies

Power FC w/ Datalogit

1200cc secondaries

Profec B

First off, many thanks to Tim Benton for answering my questions and looking at some of my maps. Also thanks to Chuck Westbrook for an excellent timing map and darn close fuel map.

I went 10% richer in all boost areas over Chuck's map and was under 10:1 on the AFR on my first pull. Pulled some out (a breeze for me, a tuning idiot, with the datalogit BTW) and got it right where I wanted it -a tad under 11:1 at peak torque moving into the low 11s on up to redline. Tweaked a little more.

Here are the numbers at 15.5 psi and 12.5 psi and, though the numbers are SAE corrected, it was 95+ and humid in the garage bay so it would probably be higher at actual standard conditions since turbo cars will do that. The sheets show power, boost, and AFR. Enjoy!

Oh yeah, this is with a .70 P-trim exhaust housing

Very nice , I was thinking about maybe peicing together something myself. COuld you maybe send me a PM if you dont want to talk about it here. I thought you need a new exhaust manifold for a single, you didnt seem to mention one, or is that with the budget kit. Also, you were running stock down pipe?

I found an HKS SS manifold, Racing wastegate, and downpipe slightly used for $900. The turbo was $800 with 4000 miles on it. Another $200 for air filter, hoses, lines, fittings, etc. All that together is my budget kit. It took some time fabbing up intercooler piping and routing things but it wasn't bad at all.
