Hey, this is fun! Now if I could just make this car FAST! Here's the timeslip from my best run...

Oh yeah! I'm number 57 on the left lane, as if you didn't know! :P

OMG. 16's..... i will cry for you. my bone stock beat up low compression 89 TII ran 15.2. you need to get that 60 FT down to 2.00. your 1/8th is slow you need to shift faster. your running about a second slower than a stock car should be you just need more practice. practice should drop you to low 15's. sorry if i sound negative

No, really. Thanks for the input. This car is bone stock, with 99.5k on it, and I'm sure I'm not getting all I can out of it yet. The car runs so quiet you can't even hear the exhaust. I plan to free that up first, but from what I've learned here, I'm going to need to upgrade the fuel and ECU too. Oh well, its only money!

with full exhaust, ecu upgrade, and upgraded fuel pump you can run low 14's easily

my personal best with a few other mods was 13.7 !!

Hey it was your first time what do you expect? At least you had a good reaction time. Once you do some mods you should see some better times. You just need to learn where your prime launch RPM, so that you don't bog off the line. You also need to shift faster like Vosko said. Don't worry you willget better and faster in time!!!!!!!!

My first time on the 1320 was better...

I had a bad clutch which grinded the **** out of 2nd So I would get up to 8k rpms and let it go down to 5 before I could shift..

15.6 first run..

Did I say it is a 12A non ported?

Im hoping it dont rain July 12th 8pm to 2 am of runs..

That's not THAT bad for a first time, you do have some good RTs though. If you could pull of a 60' of 2.00 or better...you'd be there. The 1/8th mile needs to come down, but thats just shifting which everybody else mentioned. I was down in Richmond this past friday(the 5th)..should have let me know...I could have ran the car for ya, just to see. Another issue is that your exhaust is stock like you say..your cats are probably not holding up to good...this can result in really bad times...I should know, my NA ran 17.2 w/ a 6.2 RT and clogged cats...put straight pipe on and got a 16.5 w/ 6.4 RT...I would go with a highflow cat and catback right now, that'll at least get you to the 15s...

Why can't you just change the exhaust system to a high flow by itself? Do you really need to change the ecu and fuel management?
