Lets keep in mind that I do have a street port but Marcos Acosta has a vast experience with these motors and knows many tricks to make them fast and reliable. While many shops rely on technology, this man relies on experience, intuition and r&d. This is why I chose his shop.

List of mods: Greddy T88 Turbo, Greddy Elbow, Greddy FMIC, Ported & Polished upper and lower manifold, Street Ported Motor(a la MVA), dp, Greddy Catback, Supra intank pump, Bosch external race pump, 850 primaries, 1600 secondaries, pinned, 3mm hurley seals, Microtech Mtx8 ecu and a few extra little things. NO NOS!!!

Mario
wow, thats actually not a long list of mods, cool

Opps forgot the 4msd coils and ignitions and fuel lines/rail and HKS wastegate and bov that came with the turbo kit.

There are a few more just really too much too list. Like interior enhancements, stereo, etc, etc.

a Greddy T88 turbo! I was thinking about putting that into my 3rd gen but wasn't sure if i should. Why the T88 man? besides more boost of course. I haven't seen too many rx7's with that turbo and always wondered why not. Is your Rx7 daily driven or is it for racing purposes only? I know marcos acosta has a rotary engine in his mx3, does he also have that T88 setup? and does he have a website? What's your 1/4 mile going to be man. I'm just very interested.

1. Why the T88?- when I purchased the car it already had it installed.

2. Is the rex daily driven?- Yes and no. I normally take the subway to work. But if I need to travel out of the city I'll drive my car. It is not at all a race car. No cage.

3. I know marcos acosta has a rotary engine in his mx3, does he also have that T88 setup? and does he have a website? He has a twin turbo setup. He no longer has the MX3.....it was stolen with the trailer one night after a dyno session before an event. They are working on a website.

4. What's your 1/4 mile going to be man? I'm hoping high 10's on slicks but I don't know whether the stock driveline will hold with slicks.

Drives shafts will hold for a while and the diff too. Just make sure you run slicks and dont use poppy street tires. Never dump the clutch on street tires dude.

start at 13psi or so on slicks and work your way down. IMO

just my .02 cents
