Oh, and somebody stole my ******* shoe polish, too.

I'm building myself a new FCD this week...hopefully that solves the stumble.

That's Idaho, dumbass. We have corn, cows, hogs, and soybeans here. I can't start modding right away, but it'll be pretty soon. I just have to learn how to stop wasting money.

I have a stock clutch and some old Goodyear street tires.
How long is your clutch going to last while slipping the clutch at 5K rpms?

It's lasted 40K miles of my driving so far, and I'm not worried about it lasting much longer.

That's good to know. Would a better clutch, like ACT street/strp, help your times? I mean.. then you could launch at a higher rpm, right?

No, the clutch wasn't even a small part of the problems, once it cooled down. If I launched any higher than that, I got massive wheel spin/hop and it slowed me down a lot more. My second launch was at 7500 and I just sat there while my friend Ryan's FD got further and further away. I don't know how much of the problem was the old suspension and how much was the tires, but they'll both be replaced before I go back.
