the rotary scene isnt too bad in nz. there are alot of conversions driving around (mk1 & 2 escorts, mk2 cortinas, datsuns, 323s, 626s, i even know of a rotary anglia) its fairly easy to get conversions certed here so i guess we're lucky.



we seem to be stuck in the n/a days tho... bridgeports and jports are a VERY common thing here. i guess we'll make the move to turbos one day and personally i cant wait.



from what i understand parts are easy to source if u know the right ppl and if u dont then ure outta luck (luckily i know some of the right ppl).



the only gripe i really have is that its gettin hard to find old skool rx's in a decent condition and for a reasonable price. a good friend of mine recently bought a rolling body 808 sedan and paid a mere 1500, which i think is a DAMN good deal.

Getting any old car in good condition is hard these days. Rust being the big factor. I wouldn't know if $1500 was good or bad for an 808, I don't really know that much about them, more of an old-skool rx7 fan myself (owning 2 1st gens )



I'm not sure about the "intelligent discussions" part.
