You send your PFC to XS for tuning

You use a t-shirt and rubberband as a airfilter

Naa, its ok the fuel filter only has 67K miles on it

But 87 is cheaper

Hey what happened to my oil, its only been 4K miles

Why would I need a new ecu? I'm only running 15psi???

STEPHEN
Been there done that. XS tuned my PFC when I first got it. What a waste of $150, it wasn't tuned for ****. 100% duty cycle at 12psi. What a great tuning.

Needless to say, my motor popped within 5 months of that tuning. **** happens, now I have a new motor and turbo kit so we'll see how long the new motor lasts.

WHOA!! All this talk about XS. Are we talking XS Engineering? If we are, let a **********er know, cause they tuned my PFC and I'll take it to M2 or somewhere for a re-tune.

i have heard the same thing numerous other times, although i have no previous experience with them as a tuner. i have also heard the sr has some horribly tuned power fc's. BUT to add my own little bit of info, i would never run a car "for granted"....and if you run on a 'pre-tuned' ecu, then there in lies the problem.. how do they know what your car is really like. everyone who pretunes an ecu like the power fc will tell you, if you talk further to them, that it is merely a building block, and should be taken with a grain of salt..
