my alternator pulley wobbles a tad bit, its tight but possibly is the alternator bad?

You could take the belt off and grab the pulley see if it moves up and down or in and out. It shouldn't move much. Could be the bearing is going bad. Or it could just be a pulley that isn't quite true.

wow, i've never heard of the atf trick. now do you guys i should do it to my car when it comes out. it has about 120k on the chassis and about 6k on the motor????

if you put a timing light on it does it flash when you crank the car?

nope, checked ignitor, and crank angle sensor and ecu.. so what am i left with? the actual wiring harness? i still get fuel and spark, and i hear compression... :stickpoke:

see if you get the cas signal at the ecu, or make sure the cas wires have continuity, ive seen a couple that were bad there

Are you using a Haltech? Did you mess with the ignition wires in your steering column at all?

if you recently had the car apart, could you have focked up the TPS?



just another idea, if you have not gone there yet.



it does sound like an ignition/spark sort of issue, and not fuel related....however, i was wrong once before....
