HURRY!! Get this damn thing in production BEFORE I re-install my motor!!!
i'd be willing to be a guinea pig, as long as:

A) i was guaranteed a certain amount of extra oil capacity

B)they'd be willing to wait for results, as my car most likely won't be on the road until spring, as i'm sure a lot of others would be waiting til spring also.

would there be a new gasket included in a 'kit'?

how exactly do they plan on adding more capacity? making it deeper? what about all the FDs that run a 'lower than stock' suspension set-up for street/strip/track reasons? those are my only concerns. other than that, i'm game.

3/8th thick aluminum is WAY THICKER/STRONGER than the stock oil pan.

I say, make the pan so that it will fit all 13Bs (I want one for my FC)

They already make pans that will fit the 13B FC, problem is that it won't fit with the 13BREW FD due to the motor mount bolts that go through the oil pan, this is why we're looking to have an oil pan made for this application. Here are 2 pans made for the 13B, the first one is a deep sump aluminum oil pan, and the second one is a rear sump aluminum oil pan, hope this helps you:

Very interesting. I'll have to let my friend Eddie know about these. Also does anybody know where I can get some prices on the deep sump pan for the 2nd gen?

Summit

It only says it fits the 13b. It doesn't say it will fit the chassis. It probably won't fit the FC, based on their description.

Regarding the links you provided,

The first one: "Fits Mazda 13B Rotary Engines used in Mazda RX-3 & RX-4 models; several rotary engine conversions including 1981-84 Toyota Starlet, 1964-83 Toyota Corolla, 1971-73 Datsun 1200 & others with little or no crossmember modifications; also tube chassis cars"

The second one: "Fits 1974-85 Mazda 13B Rotary Engines used in tube chassis cars and other cars without a crossmember located under engine (check dimensions for clearance)"

No specific mention as to whether these will fit an FC.

Maybe Moroso doesn't make an oil pan to fit the FC?
