Well!!! Funny you say this!!!! Cuz i have been talking to them for a couple weeks now about the same thing!!!! My main reason was more for oil slosh when drag racing but cooler temps will be a plus also!!!!! The only problem is i have to send them measurments and if im wrong im screwed!!!! Not to mention putting 3 cars together this summer my 7 has sat the most!!!! Bit i am willing to do something if my 7 doesnt sell!!! Only reason i have talked to them is i work at a parts store and seen that they made them for the other 2 motors and got into a discusion for 3rd gen motor also!!!

the first time i saw the other motor's pans in their catalog, i was tempted to buy one just to support them for doing it. i didnt thou... at the time the only pan i needed was for an rx2 project i was working on and i already knew it one of *their* pans just would not work...

latter on for a completely different project, we found a local guy who was able to make custom oilpans for very reasonable price.

all in all, i would buy a production pan like that...
