Wiring Harness
this is how I would test it. first with the key on, check to see all 4 injectors have 12v positive,by going from the injector positive wire to a ground on the chassis(or batter) if using a test light, it will light up. The injectors have 12v positve all the time when the key is on
Then get a helper.. While he is cranking, see if the injector get's the ground signal from the computer. you can do this with a meter by going from the positive battery to the injector ground wire, or use both injector wires, it should pulse 12v,0v,12v,0v, etc. DO NOT USE A TEST LIGHT FOR THIS TEST. Too much resistance in a testlight, you can blow the injector driver. There is an injector tester, commomly caled a "noid light", they come in different styles, for diff. injector plugs. If you buy one of those for like $10, you just pop it in, crank the motor, and see if it flashes.

yup. I wonder if you already killed one of the injector drivers with the test light, and thats why its not working correctly?
See if you can borrow a PFC and just try to start the car with it...dont change or test anything with it in the car. That will tell you if the injector driver is fucked up or not.
PM'd you

Got your PM. Thanks for the tip. Pretty sure I'll be using that route. You the man.

If it comes down too it I have a J spec harrness, hopefully you find out what is wrong.
Anyway,
I removed the connection in the line between the 2 injectors. No start. Tomorrow I'm going to ohm out the harness.. I'm pretty sure it's fucked somewhere.. I pulled the harness from the back of the ECU to check the pins on the injector wires.. All good there. Hopefully I find a bad harness.. At least it'll settle my stomach.. I may just cut the harness at each end and run new wires for the injectors... Then I can at least tune this pig.
