I almost have everything out under the hood, but how do i get the wiring harness to come throught the firewall? what part of the dash do i need to take off to get it through. I already have the ECU out put i can't see where it comes through on either side, inside the car.

Take off the kick panel. Then you should see what you need to do.

1 more thing, what don't i need to take off as far as wiring goes for the Haltech? It doens't control all does it? I mean the it doesn't touch cpu controls, like lights and stuff, right? Or do i have to rewire the whole friggin car?

All of that stuff won't be affected, but you'll need to keep parts of the passenger side harness to retain your wipers, cruise control, and water temperature gauge. When I do a standalone ECU--I've done 2--I remove all of the unnecessary wires from the harness.

so let me get this straight, i take out all the wiring, from both the ecu and cpu? U know how there is a shitlaod of wiring on the drivers side that comes from the cpu, i take all that crap out, right? I figured out how to get the cpu wiring out, but didn't want to start if i didn't have to. One more thing i still don't see where to pull the ecu wiring out from, i have the kick panel out, but the wires go where i can't see, and none appear to goto the hole where all the wiring from under the hood goes to through the firewall.

No, just take out the harness that goes to the ECU. That's the one you'll have to modify. Everything else can stay the way it is. The harness plugs are attached to the kick panel, right under the dash.
