i read about this setup awhile back but did anyone try it?

and how well does that rearend take the hard launches?

It's not the rear end, it's the rear diff. However it will take a little bit more of a beating, but nothing beats a real LSD.

thanks, i know that i need the LSD unit. but will it take 5000 rpm launches and if the LSD ***** up is it going to explode like the 3rd gen diffs?

it has taken my 8500 RPM launches



the reason the diff explodes is from vibration. you need a diff brace and tranny brace to stop that from happening

so i'll have to run ET streets instead of drag radials because they have soft sides and that should stop the vibration right?

well i haven't broken anything with my drag radials or M&H's . if you run et streets you might break an axle though

my friend went with chromoly axels so i have his stock axels just incase .

do you ride the clutch off the line or just dump it?

and how much can i get a T2 rearend for?
