Where Are My Fuel Injectors?
#1
I'm going to replace the o-ring on my fuel injectors. (I smell a raw fuel smell and the car's service record indicate it has had this problem before and that it was the injector o-rings)
But... where are they? Do I need to take off the intake manifold?
Thanks,
John Magnuson

you need to take off the intake manifold. DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR!!!!!!!!!! there are a few recalls for fuel lines also you could have a bad fuel pulsation dampener!!!! if you are not 100% sure of what you are doing. i would suggest taking it to a rotary specialist. WE DO NOT WANT YOUR BABY BURNING DOWN!!!!!!!!
there are MANY high quality shops in california

see who people recommend in your area but i would be VERY careful..... many third gens have had engine fires.....
KEEP A FIRE EXTINGUISHER IN YOUR CAR!!!
don't mean to be so worried but better safe than sorry....

You have to remove the intake manifold, solenoid rack, and all other rerlated hardware. I would recommend also replacing the fuel pulsation dampner, and the fuel lines as well. If you are mechanically incclined then this won't be too hard. If not, then take it to a reputable shop. Also, watch out for the metering oil pump lines, when removing the primary fuel rail.
