I agree, especially in hot *** Texas you don't need that feature. You can either cap the hoses off, or use a small metal tube and connect them together.

I blocked mine off too, when does it really get that cold. I cap mine on the top of rear housing, plus the one that goes to the back of the filler neck.

Well I am not sure if I want to disable it yet. I am having problems with the coolant flow and I am sure what it is....

2 possibilities.....Coolant hose to turbo was torn. Thermostat was bad. Water pump I think is bad....cant tell.
