I need new tires but realized how expensive all four come out to... now i'm interested in buying the rims as well since i'm planning on buying them not too long from now. So any opinions on where to buy rims? Everything is just so damn expensive..

Depends on what you want. See, I want 17 inch volk te-37s, but short of selling blood, semen, and my *** into slavery, I probably wont ever get 'em. Discount tire direct and tire rack both sell rims, to my knowledge. Check around your area, too, for tire shops or customization shops..they're a good starting point

If you are on a budget keep an eye on Ebay. I got mine which are made by Volk for $1280. Goodfella got some Fiskes for really cheap. Justin, 9BASE3 got his racing beats for $100.

I agree with the Ebay budget shopping. I had problems with misrepresented offsets and sizes. Just because they say they'll fit an FD doesn't make it true. Compare the wheel model and offsets with manufacturers specs (some companies advertised wheel offsets that didn't exist on the manufacturer's website).

I secured my 18x8 and 18x9 ADR's for $1200 shipped, with Pirelli P-Zero's.

I almost forgot to mention - stay away from WheelMax! Their off-brand rims are crappy (Excel and anything else you haven't seen in an SCC ad.)

Another option, if you are on a budget, contact "rzroc" over at the club.

He got me some discontinued Work 18" wheels for about $800 less than what they would cost me new. Whats wrong with them? Nothing. He sells tons of wheels over there and is a great guy. Very upfront, honest, and helpful.
