Thumbs up

I have a 93 mazda RX7 touring with stock brake rotors and calipers. I want to change from the stock wheels to aftermarket Volks. How big of wheel can I put on the back of the car and what is the offset. Another question, what is the biggest I should go on the front. Thanks for the help. If you can, let me know wheel size and tire size. thanks.

Well, I just ordered some Volk Racing SF Winnings and I ordered 18x10 (+36 offset) in the rear and 18x9 (+41 offset) in the front. I got these offsets directly from Vok. However, with these wheels I would have to run coilovers. As for the biggest you can run up front, I know some people will run 18x10 fron and rear, but they will run higher offset, like +50. Anyway, I'm actually trying to sell my wheels if you're interested.

I am looking to actually purchas the Volks CE20 i believe is the style. So if I call VOLKS they will be able to give me the proper offset. I don't have coilovers so those won't be applicable. thanks for the help though.

That's cool. I don't read to much on here, but if you check out www.rx7club.com there's a good post on wheels sizing. You can also check that. Good luck.

Im running ADVAN SA3R's, 17x9 (+36 offset) in the front and 17x10 (+36 offset) in the rear. I used a smaller 255/40-17 tire, that way it doesnt come in contact with the suppension. I know 17's arnt that big, but it looks great and has no prolbems.

I have seen 19's on an FD, but it required a set of coilovers and very thin tires 215/30-19, if i can rememner correctly. The 19's didnt look good at all. 18x9F and 18x10R, is a common setup for some FD owners, depenring on the size of tire you use, you might have to runn a coilover as well.
