What A Pain My Saturday Was....
#1
so before i owned an FD i had an FB. changing the oil and plugs was childs play. so i thought the FD, being it has the same engine layout couldnt be that much harder. WRONG!!!
first i had to lift the car up to get the lift legs under it. then i had to put 2x4s so i wouldnt crush the sideskirts. that was the easy part...
then i went and decided to change the plugs...is there an easy way to do this?? i spent like 2 hours trying to get them off. the hardest was the trailing 1, nothing but wires and harnesses on its way. after i finally i get it out and install the new one, i realised that i had install a leading plug instead of a trailing...
cant wait to have to change the wires...
then last nite i almost crash it....(see gen d)

You can take off the intake elbow and get reasonable access to the plugs. I have done mine several times like that.
I did my plug wires when I had my UIM and TB off and it was still a pain in my ***. The oil fill gets in the way too so I loosened that up too. Good luck!

im not too sure if i got the right leading on, but i made damn sure i knew which trailing was which. the car runs fine, so im gessing my guess on the leading wires was correct...
