Okay guys i have been thinking about this all the time for God knows how long. I'm getting my fortune kit in from veilside in a week or two and I can't decide what color/colors to paint the car any suggestions? I'm pretty sure I want to use black with something else like maybe Porsche Atlas Grey in the middle of the hood and front end and doors and mazda factory black over the rest but I'm not sure any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

 

I think these kinds of threads are kind of anti climatic considering your going to do what you want.



Paint jobs I would like to see someday on a FD.



Black with flames, 787B paint scheme, Metal flake type bright colors of any kind.



Ofcoarse most people (including myself) go with safe colors like blue or black, red, gray. If you ***** are big go with something off the wall.

 

What color is your car now? Go with that.

i agree.... or if a variant of your current color at least, then you dont have to change the title at the department of motor vehicles

 

If you are getting the veilside kit then I take it you want that pure japanese tuner look...so why not complete the look with a paint job that is like FD3 said....off the wall...a bold statement with massive pinstriping and why not come up with your on design and have it painted onto the hood or something...kinda like a tattoo...but whatever man...maybe im just too tired to come up with anything logical
