So on really hard cornering my car just dies. Like it runs out of fuel. Did it today with a little over half a tank and it fell flat on its face. I assume its because the fuel is all escaping the fuel pump but half a tank seems like alot of gas for it to miss. Any ideas>? or solutioins?

Oh yea, supra tt fuel pump is what i have

I noticed it is a 1st gen in your profile but at least a gsl-se....is it still fuel injected?

if it is then was it a long hard corner that let all the fuel out of the traps that keep fuel around the pump?

half a tank is a lot yes but on the cornering g's of a 7 you know as much as me ALL that fuel is against one side of the tank

will it die on 3/4 or more?

Is it on a hard left turn?

My vert would die on a hard left uturn. It was a dirty fuel pump strainer in the tank.

Yea, i have an 84 GSL-SE and a 93 FD. Im talking my fd here. I havent tried it on 3/4 tank, ill give that a shot. I assumed it was because all the gas was at one side so is there any way to stop this? These are some of the best drift and road course cars out there so dieing on a sharp corner is not a good situation. Also, on those corners am i leaning out to the point of nearing detonation or is there a prevention system in place? Oh yea, it is left turns, dunno about right

Heres my mod list btw.

The cheapest way to solve the fuel slosh problem is by using a Fuel Surge Cover. There was a group buy for them on the big forum (but the forum is down right now). If you are having the problem and you have 3/4th of a tank of fuel or more, then it would be a different issue other than fuel slosh. But if you are just low on fuel, then it is fuel slosh and simply putting more fuel in when you are doing your performance driving will take care of it for now.

Check the baffles inside the gas tank. Sometimes they break off and don't do their job. Do you have a fuel pressure gauge to confirm the pressure drop during cornering?
