whuz up guys im trying to get a idea on with boost controller to use.i was thinking of using apex i that runs threw my powerfc.im looking for feed back on this if anyone used one how did it work?i dont know anyone who uses it and wondering why.the appeal of it to me is i dont like a whole bunch of things cluttering my cockpit area and i already have the handheld for the pfc why not just utilize it to control my boost, just want to confirm it works well before i purchase it, :blush:thanks for your input

Who not just use the BC function on the PFC?

I have the Apexi AVC-R and it works great. I have non-sequential twins and there is no spiking.

Manual boost controlers wont clutter your cockpit. You can get a good/inexpesive TurboXS for $100 - $150 (NEW)

OR you can get a nice electonic boost controller I love the blitz duel SBC It lets you have 2 tunable boost settings (HI - LOW) ya can pick one of those off ebay.com for around $150 - $180 (USED)and of course you can go all out and get a apexi or a stand alone system??

If you already have the Apexi PFC, then you will need only the boost control solenoid. You can either use that or buy an Apexi AVC-R that comes with the solenoid. PM me if you would like to purchase either-

There's a thread running in the single turbo discussion https://www.nopistons.com/forums/ind...howtopic=54477.

But if your looking to have something that doesn't clutter the interior your probably best to go with the PFC solenoid option otherwise a manual will do. I like being able to change boost settings on my Blitz SBC (to a lower boost setting or completely off) for when the wifey drives. Works perfectly for my application.
