I'm a fan of the avc-r, though a little trickier to setup has some nice store features as well as a high, and low boost settings as well as off and even one called scramble boost which can be set to last for a desired time period and can be higher or lower than the a or b setting. I think if you have the PFC then you should be able to do what you need to control the boost with it. There....my $0.02

blitz sbc id hands down. it works the best and its the easiest to setup. it is expensive though
