if you have $$ to spend, go with metal filters.. i agree with JTimports i've never liked foam filters.. however until i order my HKS metal flow intake I will probably custom fabricate one of those K&N intakes

Those HKS kits are almost impossible to get now days here in Japan, they

use to be on every shelf. On N/A cars they seem to be fine, but on turbo

I have the M2 intake box (cf) that uses the k&n filters.. I almost had it installed yesterday, but the damn thing was hitting the hood.. so.. I'm gonn a cut some of the pipe..

if your on a budget.. just get some K&N filters... I've read that the Apex filters where the best.. there was a link somewhere.. i had em.. but i just like the HKS one's better...

Yea, I've also remember going to a site where the Apex filters came out to be the best.. but I like the idea of an intake box myself..

How did you do the Stock box mod with the new filter for 10 bucks >?

i agree with the foam intakes, but i like the way the pollished pipes and filters look.

i think i might just mod the air box. with a new filter i like the way it takes in cold air, maybee i can make the oppenning bigger i will look at it tomrorrow.
