I think you could hit 11s with all the crap removed and boost at 14.

excellent!!! I figured I prob could but, ya know I dont want to say for sure, but If it was going to be a very hard task Id go ahead and just go to a single and get there that way but I want to keep pretty stock till next winter when I go way wacky on my motor :-)

yeah but I want to keep the stock interior in place. and Im not tryin to make a super light car for racing I just figured 100 pounds lighter, will make it a lil easier for me to hit my goal of 11's on the stock twins... do you guys think 14psi on the stock twins and all the boltons with traction would net me a 11 second et? i know its hard to say for sure but hey i figured id ask depending if im a good driver or not and traction...??
Haha, yeah, I can understand that seeing as mine's going to be track-only. Also, pay attention to what Herb said about keeping the distribution in mind. Seems like you're wanting to hit 11s on the strip, but when it comes to a fun twisty, losing all of the weight in the world can help only so much, the other bit is making sure it's as close to 50/50 between front and back and left and right.

yeah I dont have access to a scale that can do each wheel weight unless I can place my car on a part of the scale at a weird angle, which might not be good since the scale is on a slope hill :-( the only thing i can think is back my car on there and weigh it with my rear wheels only on the scale and do the same with my front wheels. im sure each side isnt much different in weight so really make a whine about since it will be a daily driver well sorta.

Yes I will take it to the strip but maybe only once a month.. its mainly going to be a fun street car on weekends, but when i do go to the strip I want to be able to run in the 11's and shut most of them honda boys up when im running mostly stock parts and not a full blown built motor and im pullin the same times if not better :-) ohh yah the fastest honda we have here is a full drag car which is in the 10's so i wont mess with him, but all the street ones are 15's-14's in the quarter which i already dominate but I want to totally dismantle them. and there is one on the street highly modded who runs like a 13.3ET, my goal is to totally light there ****'s up next spring when I pull an 11 second time on stock parts :-) he he he I love my FD

i had my car down to 2540lbs with 1/2 tank of gas. This was with no interior except 2 seats and the dash. CF hood, no a/c, no ps, no emmissions. Single turbo .Every minute peice that was not needed was gone. The only offset was that i had a rollbar installed.. probably 50lbs there.

You will not see under 2500 lbs in a car that isn't COMPLETELY unstreetable and still have gas in the tank . Someone once claimed to be well under that, sorry, won't happen.

I'm aiming for 2200 lbs with mine now, but doubt i make that.

The only Hondas you find here are complete ricers or people trying to save gas. No competition from those types.

same here really most that are running 15's and 14's are winged warriors, with stickers everywhere and all or most are running nitrous!! the guy running 13's i looked at his car but not very well but I know hes turbo'd and i think hes sprayin a lil also but hes quick no doubt but he is no match for my FD :-) me stock aint too far behind him as it is, and when i go with my 3" downpipe and midpipe, that alone will prob net me darn even with him I would think.

so pretty much 2800 pounds would be a more reasonable goal for my car huh??
