Took it to a garage and checked the actuators. They are all hooked up, but I could not get the turbo precontrol or the wastegate control to move even when tugging on the lines. I also noticed that the turbo precontrol (where the clip was) was cocked at a 45 degree angle, almost like it was still open, whereas the wastegate one was shut. I don't suspect a vacuum leak as my vacuum and idle has not changed. Does anything seem out of normal here?

Attached is a rough image of how my Wastegate control and Turbo Precontrol looked with the car off. Is this normal?

This is a slightly less rough image of what the rods should look like looking from the bottom:

I belive that the arm should be towards the front of the car.

This is one of those things that is a bitch to describe and better done in person. Looks like yours is fine though. I would move on top testing the two solinoids next. They are the two paired up on the front of the UIM right behind the "Y"pipe I think they are green.

Good luck homey.

Just to update this issue.... my HKS EVC took a dump on me. The solenoid went bad. We put a manual boost controller in and everything is back to normal. Now, I just hope HKS will stand behind their products.

Thanks for the update.

Drives me nuts when someone starts a project and doesn't post how it turns out.
