Waste Gate Porting

i got a new dye grinder of the snap on man last friday and was wonderign if i can use it to port the waste gate or if its a job for my local shop?

it *can* be done with a die grinder.... but it's a huge PITA. recommend taking it to a shop... it's not that expensive to get them to mill the wastegate out.

My friend burned two bits on his mill trying to port the WG for a buddy of mine. I just ended up using a grinder with a carbide bit. Worked fine.

i bought a snapon set of 4 carbide bits from snap on and got the grinder free with deal of the month but the only use i have for it is to take the lip of brake drums at work i wana just try porting it with the die
