Wandering Idle
#1
I've just started my car from having it sit in the garage in the winter.
I have installed a FMIC and new radiator and was starting it up yesterday.
It didnt go very well when i filled her up with water, it was alot of air in there and the temp gauge went to about ten o'clock, i was at that time convinced that i had broken an o-ring. I let it cool and filled her up, started, filled up etc, to 7 litres.
Here comes my idle problem
At first the idle was fine but after the fans had stopped blowing for the first time the idle went up and down from 700-850 rpm, dont know why it does this, i have tried resetting the ecu but it didnt help.
The reason i wrote about the water filling is cause i'm wondering if a bad o-ring can cause a bad idle due to low compression?
Or maybe it's something else causing this?
