These two hoses don't seem to fit on one side at all, if I use 4mm--but they seem loose on the other side, with 6mm.

General engine location of the hoses, in non-closeup.

Is that the line that runs to the vaccum chamber? Make the 4mm fit, better to be to tight then to loose..

Unless it's so tight the hose splits after a couple days--that is silicone's achilles heel, right?

Before I went single I did my vaccum lines and I didn't have any problems. It should give enough to fit over it. Zip tie it and call it good, just keep an eye on it.

3.5 mm should fit. That's what came with the silicon hose techniques set for the solenoids.
