On the flip side, you guys in America never got it but Mazda had an agreement with Holden (Ozzie GM) to share motors/bodies, so Mazda grabbed a big fat aussie car that normally scores a 6 or V8, called the Holden Premier, and chucked a 13B NA in it, really tasteful floral/paisley deep pile trim and called it the Mazda Roadpacer. Probably the most underpowered car in existence!

Eeeuuuwwww!
Wow...that's a weird "rotary"...how much did that chassis weigh?
The Mazda Roadpacer was introduced in 1975 to Japan

Click on this link for a history page written in Japanese http://history.mazda.co.jp/RotaryStory/Gra...i/Part2/09.html

Engine

Mazda 13B Rotary 654cc

power: 135ps/6000rpm

torque 19kg-m/4000rpm

Weight

1575kg

Seating Capacity : 5

Top speed 157km/h

Wow. 11.7 Kg per Hp. Bet it boogied.

i love people who bash pistom motors...its too ****** funny. If the Rotary was SOOOO ******* superior, they why doesnt every car on the road have it?

I could build a twin T3/T4 turbo chevy small block (Alloy) and shoehorn it into my vert and have 1000ft/lbs. For a fraction of the cost of a 400ft/lb rotary (20B)

****...that chevy would have a rodeck block and a flat crank too
