I would destroy that car in every way. If he could manage as much HP as I have, he would have no traction due to the immense amount of torque that comes with it. As for handling- you are aware that an FD has 50/50 weight distribution- yes? Put a heavy *** V8 in there and watch your beautifully crafted 7 begin to understeer like a 1970 Z28. I'm not saying it didn't take some talent to pull off the conversion, I just don't see the reasoning.

I think it keeps the 50/50 weight distribution. That block isn't heavy at all compared to most V8's. I looked around on their site a while back, it's great if you want a reliable daily driver. I just like my rotary... knock knock, boom....

Why are you showing pictures of someone ELSE's FC3s? You do know that soul assassin sold that car and bought a CHEVY cyclone or some supercharged V6 truck right? You also know he NEVER ONCE ported/built/tuned ANY of his engine's. SO....your giving credit to a guy who didn't do **** to his RX-7. Better yet...he got rid of the RX-7 and got a supercharged V6....

You know when I'd put a V8 in my FD? When the cost of the swap was less than an engine rebuild for me(my last one cost me $340~)...I'd proly never do it. But to make retarded comments like that...just appreciate the fact that there are talented people out there that can DO this type of ****.

First off, hit the "Quote" in the upper left of the post you want to comment on.

Second of all...why didn't he BUY an RX-7 in the STATES? Especially if he had all the parts? You know why? Because HE DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO PUT THEM TOGETHER.

And last but not least...if you THINK you can pull this swap off...then reply. It's a NEAT idea. It's not the BEST idea.

I'm a moderator because of two things...Online time and knowledge of 3rd gen rx7's. I am guessing I am a moderator because I'm not closed minded. As many FD engine's I've seen blown up...they have their weaknesses. Rotary's are NOT the best engine in the world....just a different engine...that's just pretty easy to rebuild. So, when's the last engine you rebuild?
