Don't you get cooling problems with the radiator?

What Martin is referring to is that the FM cools more efficiently, at the expense of blocking the radiator. I'd say go V Mount if you plan to track the car.

front mount all the way baby!. all this talk of cooling problems with a front mount are BS to me. my temps are no different with my frount mount. Possibly, if you have the a/c condenser still in the car, it may run higher due to the radiator now being the 3'd thing for the air to pass through. but a/c is for pussies anyway!! A good FMIC, and some foam rubber to seal around the intercooler is all you need. yeah the v-mount is bling, but the front mount is intimidating.

I don't think the benefits outweight the cost. A car with a front mount and properly ducted upgraded radiator should not overheat. That and no matter what you do, any intecooler in the engine bay is going to heat soak.

I like my front mount, no overheat problems ever......

I think V-mounts should stay on the track.....

I like the look of them, but I dont if I need to change a belt or pulley or a hose, since you have to take it out everytime....

I'm not sure how you can do a poll because people would have to have used "both" and I doubt you will even find one person that has. I think the front mount is more Bling because your hood is allways closed and a V-Mount would look stock. I can't deny I love the HKS V-Mount though.

Instead of the V-Mount, You can get a 3-row Mazdacomp radiator, upgrade your fans to '99+ 5 & 7 blades, then add some fans to the FMIC tapped into the radiator fan wiring. If you still wanna spend more and be more efficien replace the radiator fan motors to 99+ as well. You still have cash leftover? ok, buy a vented hood since you'd have to buy one for a V-Mount to work anyhow.

Since i'm gonna be driving it aswell, i think you should go with the V-mount. i like the and the no-big-intercooler-in-the-front-look so it looks like a sleeper

front mount for me all the way. No way in hell a v-mount IC will fit with a 20B conversion....unless the IC is REALLY small.
That would be sweet if he did get a 20b conversion
