What are the upgrades I should start with when I get my 7. What should I look into first. I'm figuring a new street port and a new turbo after the normal upgrades such as exhaust, intercooler, boost guage, air/fuel mixture guage and turbo timer, BOV. Which type of exhaust do you all recommend. intercooler too?

I'm figuring the Apex'i N1 Dual and the HKS BOV. What brands do you all recommend? I think Apex'i is good. Also, how about the XS Engineering kit?

you left out the 2 main upgrades. Better ECU and fuel system upgrades, without those your car will go BOOM!

yea, after 2 mods you need to upgrade ECU, basically anyway, you can do whatever you want. oh and the turbo XS bov's are pretty nice, to my taste anyway..

That 'turbo upgrade' you referred to is going to cost ~$3K if you're going single.

do all the reliability mods 1'st. New rad, AST removal, Rip the cat off, All new vacume lines. Start to pre-mix it. That should set you up for some good mods. Youll need a ECU if you do more than 3 flow mods, the mid pipe, cat-back, and CAI all count. So look into getting a PowerFC or other ECU.

Yeah. The power fc was something i left out. Is there anything better than the apex'i power fc? I heard that they're the best, and i heard that they aren't. What are your opinions?

They aren't the BEST best necessarily, it depends on your application. But for you, it' the best, most supported, user friendly stand-alone that money can buy. Hell, you can just plug it straight in to the factory harness!
