...your talking about the little gold ring that fits in the pressure plate right? That part keeps coming back out with the throw out bearing, but i'm pretty sure its in right....
thats what holds the clutch release when pressed into the collar.. when you pressed the clutch release back on... theres nothin to hold it in place..
fits right onto the groove.. let me know if you want me to take pics later....might have an old clutch sittin around..

Just wondering if you have those pics?
OPPS>. I've completely forgot. I'll take some this weekend and post.
I have an ACT clutch (SS) out, so I'll take pics of that.

Honestly i dont think so because the throw-out bearing broke when we took it out. What should all be up in there? We just broke the new throw-out bearing today tring to **** with it. I was just going to fix it up to sell it and i think i might just be able to get more by parting it out considering all the ******* trouble its giving me.
You need a wire ring on the engine side of the PP, and then the wedge collar on the tranny side. The wedge collar fingers reach thru and engage the wire ring at the notches. Then you push the tob in and it should click and lock. If it doesn't click, don't force it. There are two sets of fingers on the wedge collar - you might need to rotate the collar in the ring by one finger to get them lined up right.
At this point, I strongly recommend removing the PP and test fitting the TOB/wire ring/wedge collar out of the car. This assembly must engage solidly and flawlessly or else it may pop loose while driving.
