Storage Question
#1
I plan on putting my fd into storage for at least a year. I want to put it up on jackstands, and I'm just wondering about placement so that I don't mess with the frame or suspension parts. If anyone has done something like this before I would really like to hear what they did. Thanks in advance.

One of the tires has a slow leak and I don't want it to deflate and bend the rim, I will be out of the country and I dont really have anyone to check on it every week and I don't really have the extra cash to buy a brand new tire for it.

I store mine every winter (Nov to Mar/April) and like to store it off suspension too. Just put it up on stands at the jacking points, which IIRC are in your owner's manual. I use a block of wood between the stand and pinch welds.
I also try to do an oil change just before putting it up, and disconnect the battery.

I'm sure if you use the lift points and jack stands you should be fine.
Why are you putting it on jack stands for a year, though? It should be fine sitting on its tires.
The tires get flat spots if they sit for that long in one place.
Ask me how I know.
